In November we will be pondering some very serious issues like changing perception (Nov.4) but we will do it with concrete experiences for the children like using mirrors, bifocal eye glasses, magnifying lenses,kaleidoscopes.

 

On November 11 we will be encouraging reflection about life and death tying that in with Rememberance Day observance but also the children's observance of nature  as we change into the "dying" season of fall and the "dead" season of winter.

 

November 18 we will explore what sustains us in chaotic times. We will talk about some of the children's experiences and what makes them lonely and afraid. We know that God loves us  "Even if..."

 

November 25 we will be exploring images of God. We will encourage the children to make their own images with paper, paint and brushes. "God is like...."
